Welcome to Sumits Hot Yoga

Yoga is a great way to find health, balance, physical and mental relaxation, and this practice has been relied on for centuries.  It builds flexibility and strength while it tones the body.  Hot yoga brings all of this and the benefits of  a more intense workout.  Practicing in a heated room helps the body relax, improves breathing, and focuses the mind.

Designed by Sumit Banerjee, Sumit’s Yoga is based on his own years of experience practicing and teaching various yoga styles including Bikram and Vinyasa. His sequence and style of teaching reinforces his primary objectives as a teacher: helping others to realize the powerful wellness benefits of yoga including a stronger, toned and more flexible body and an improved state of mind encouraging relaxation, self-acceptance and awareness.

Registration

  • Registration must be made online only and requires a credit card on file with us, as well as any in-store purchases.  If you do not have a credit card on file, please email us at sumitshotyogastl@gmail.com with credit card number, expiration date, zip code, and three digit code. We will input and delete your information immediately. You may also purchase classes online by visiting www.sumitsyogastl.com

  • Due to the limited space in class, our new cancellation policy will require a two-hour cancellation in order to not be charged a full drop in rate of $20. Please be aware all no shows will be charged a full drop in rate of $20.

  • The studio will be open promptly 20 minutes prior to class and 20 minutes after each scheduled class.

  • Students are allowed to take doubles (second class of the day), for a discounted rate of $15.

Safety

  • Upon arriving, keep six feet or more space from one another and do not crowd the door.  We know we have a great community here and people are excited to see one another, however, ANY congregating inside the studio is not permitted. If you want to engage in conversation please do so outside. We have outside seating available. 

  • All shoes will need to be removed before entering.

  • Please plan to stay the duration of the entire class. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS on leaving class early.

  • Please stay home if you or your family members have a cough, fever, or any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.  Do not come to sweat it out if you do not feel well. Several of our staff and instructors are high risk and it is your responsibility to stay home if you are not well.
